Different wineries in Lleida participate in the program with a dozen activities within the promotion of INCAVI
The Denomination of Origin Costers del Segre inaugurates this Monday afternoon, November 9, from 5 pm, with an interview by Judith Cortina with its president, Tomàs Cusiné and the general manager of Clos Pons, Eduard Pons; the ‘Meet the DOs’ interview round that the Catalan Wine Week has programmed to publicize and promote the different Catalan wine territories. The Catalan Wine Week, organized by INCAVI and the different Catalan DOs will have the participation of different wineries in Lleida that have scheduled a dozen activities. The entire program of interviews can be followed live online at: https://www.setmanadelvicatala.cat/setmana-del-vi-tv/, it will last for a week with a total of seventy activities.
The activities of the wineries of the DO Costers del Segre within the Catalan Wine Week go through proposals such as virtual wine tastings, presentations or discounts on online purchases. The virtual tastings begin on November 13 with Lagravera (7pm) who, through her Instagram channel, will be tasting three wines by sommelier from the winery Marzena Dziuk. Clos Pons will also have a tasting that will be virtual and personalized (20h), with its sommelier Daniel Almirall and with the tasting of 4 wines. A proposal that the winery will repeat on November 14 and 15 at the same time. Finally, Costers del Sió will offer a live tasting on its Instagram channel, on November 14 at 7 pm, of two wines from the winery. Other options within the Catalan Wine Week are the virtual presentation of Lagravera, which will offer on November 14 through its Instagram channel, to learn about the particular geology of the Serra Llarga with the geologist Jaume Oró, the historian Jesús Brufal and the his oenologist Pilar Salillas. El Celler Montsec will celebrate the “Espinjola’t, the new wine festival party”, from November 13 to 20, through its Instagram channel; with prize giving and Golden Barrel raffle included. The participation of the DO Costers del Segre will also have the Castell del Remei, Cérvoles and Tomàs Cusiné wineries that will offer 10% discounts in their online store from 10 to 15 November. In addition, tomorrow 10 November at 12.30 pm, the owner of Mas Blanch i Jové, Sara Jové; will take part in a round table led by David Jobé on “Success stories in wine tourism in Catalonia”.
On the other hand, the journalist Rafa Gimena from Como Pomona, organizer of the Catalan Wine Communication Conference (COMUVICAT) and member of the Lleida Wine Route -DO Costers del Segre, will participate today Monday, from 6.40 pm in the round table “Communicating wine in COVID times”. A gathering and space for reflection led by journalist David Jobé de l’Enoturista, to learn about the latest trends in the field of wine communication.
